Re: Discipline that works?

whatever you do, you must be consistent with the whole team, superstar or bench player. these girls can spot an ounce of unfairness a mile away and will undermine any disciple you are attempting.

Re: Does your DG know the proper way to throw a ball

Same reason Fowler crow hops on every pitch. Their mechanics may be bad but the results are good enough that coaches don't want to mess with it and throw off their game in the short term or worse never back to where they were before they were 'fixed'.

Re: Why is No One Playing ASA ?

ASA may have been the premier organization at one time, but they are living in the past. Now we want information that is current and up to date and ASA has been slow to respond. Yes, their website is awful, but it's not the website but rather the information it does not convey that keep people from ...

Re: What is considered throwing "hard"

The fastest pitch clocked for the 10u skills competition in Carlsbad, New Mexico was 53 mph. Just a little shoutout on this one: Both of those were from l...

Re: What is considered throwing "hard"

just like in real estate, at this level, it's all about location, location, location. Speed is like having a big gun, it's intimidating, but if you can't hit the broad side of a barn it doesn't do you much good. He speed is about right, but she needs to be consistent and place the ball where the coa...

Player contracts

I know most teams have player contacts staying code of conduct and player responsabilities. But I heard there are some teams that have players locked on financially for a season, meaning if you want to leave for any reason you have to buyout your entire years worth of club dues. Is this a normal pra...

Re: Register ASA sign up

huskerdan has a point , but I hardly believe its rage , we played 12U Victory Lane tourney this weekend (an ASA Toutney), no results posted or no link to results on ASA website. Now I'm sure we can backdoor into Victory lane site for results but if its an ASA tourney they should have a results pool...

12u teams

So who are the 12u teams in this division? I see all the ones that posted for tryouts but what about the others? Is there a Desert Kaos? Outlaws? East Valley Pride? AZ Ice? Phx Heat? So far I have: Killer Bees, hotshots 98, hotshots 12u, suncats 98, wildfire, storm, liberty, xtreme, lil saints, sol,...

Re: 12U TOP TEN PRE-SEASON (FALL 2010) THE LATEST

"he did not like being censored and felt he was better off posting somewhere that he is able to cross the line and post negative things about others". Isn't this comment being negative towards MAD-DOG? Seems to me people were commenting on Mad Dogs integrity for his rankings on not on the rankings t...
