14U Is Stacked!

Post by Benched Dad » August 30th, 2018, 11:46 am

A lot of movement has happened in the past 2 months.

Suncats Leyvas - Broke up
FC Kaye/Padilla - Has added some major players
Storm Apple - Has added some key pieces
Bomber Day - Is looking to have continued success
Fusion - Continues to win USSSA tournaments

So who is the top dawg this season? Everyone would love to hear your thoughts.

What this post should be is what team will blow up first or who will still be alive before Christmas break...

FC Padilla has 15/16 girls on the squad. Is it a recipe for disaster or a recipe for success? They have the all star squad when it comes to 04's.
Storm Apple added Joe Terry and his daughter to the team.
Bombers Day????
Fusion has been the most consistent with keeping players, but never travel

Hotshots Delsante or Phx Heat or F-Crackers Renteria? Any good teams from Tucson?

Not sure which teams will make it but u are right, there will prob be drama before X-Mas. Maybe list the top teams and odds they will still be around at the end of the year?

Apple is dominating 14s
Fc/Padilla hasn't done anything with a so called all star team
Old Scottsdale saints team now firecrackers look real good.
Let's see who can qualify for pgf.

1. Storm Apple- got better, played very strong this fall
2. FC- Schow- played well, didn't travel
3. Storm Putz- solid
4. Brun- see #2
5. FC Padilla- underachieved
6. Bombers Day- see #2
7. Fusion
8. Suncats 04/05- Heard both teams use 04/05 age group, not sure who is better, or if they are just still 1 large team

Had to edit, forgot the other Storm team.

Um FC-AZ Schoweneis traveled quite a bit this fall (3 times) and did very well, they're the strongest 04 FC-AZ team so far. Good talent, classy team and good coaching, lots of those girls have been together since 10U and parents are bought into what Scott is doing, they will only get better! Great job coaches!
